"What is the weather like during Tour de Outback?"

Dave

Last Update há 3 meses

Tour de Outback takes place in the high desert climate of Lake County, Oregon, which often provides beautiful riding conditions for cyclists. That being said, weather is unpredictable — so please bring options for all weather types.

Typical weather during the event season may include:

  • Colder mornings
  • Hotter afternoons
  • Low humidity
  • Winds across open landscapes

Because the event takes place in Eastern Oregon, temperatures can change throughout the day. Riders should be prepared with layers that can be removed as the day warms up.

We recommend bringing:

  • Arm warmers or a lightweight jacket
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses
  • Bug spray
  • Plenty of hydration

The high desert scenery and open skies are part of what make Tour de Outback one of the most memorable Oregon charity bike rides.
