Bike Types

Most riders complete the event on road bikes, though other bikes may also be suitable depending on the route.

Recommended equipment includes:

• A well-maintained bike (gravel, road, e-bike)
• Tires appropriate for paved rural roads
• A helmet that meets CPC requirements (required)

If you are unsure whether your bike is suitable for a particular route, feel free to contact us.

Please note: E-bike riders should ensure that their battery has sufficient range for the selected route and should ride respectfully alongside traditional cyclists. 

If riders choose to camp on the fairgrounds, e-bike charging will not be available at the camp.
